Summer Solstice, June 21st, is my husband’s favorite time of the year because it’s the longest day of the year. Hopefully we’ll have sunshine, seeing so little of it this rainy spring. But we won’t need the sunshine to celebrate this Summer Solstice in the gallery … we will be having a preview party to celebrate Alexandra Nechita!
You may recognize Alexandra as the young nine year old prodigy who stormed onto the art scene in the late 1990s. She was nicknamed the ‘Petite Picasso.’ was featured in hundreds of interviews that included Oprah, CBS this morning and Letterman.
Now, she’s all grown up with a young daughter of her own and at the ripe, not-so-old age of thirty three, we are ecstatic to be her debut location for her North American tour. We will have a brand new body of work that you can be among the first to see. Don’t miss this important exhibition as the legacy of Alexandra Nechita evolves.
