Laurence DiRosario was born in Dover, Ohio in 1932. He graduated from Steubenville High School in 1949. He studied art and design at Pratt Institute and graduated in 1953. Larry went on to continue his studies at Cornell University and earned his Fine Arts degree in 1955. Larry resided in New York City from 1955 through 1975. He participated in group shows and executed specially commissioned artworks while professionally designing. In 1975, Larry relocated to Columbus, Ohio. He had several solo exhibitions, including at the Town Street Gallery of Columbus, Ohio in the spring and summer of 1982 as well as at the Computer Center Art Gallery of Dublin, Ohio. His paintings have been displayed and sold at the Collector’s Gallery with The Columbus Museum of Art in Dublin, Ohio. His paintings have also been in the Columbus Parade of Homes of 1984 and 1985 and in The Columbus Museum Decorator Showcase Homes of 1983 and 1985. In April 1986 he participated in New York Art Expo at the Jacob Javits Center. His paintings were exhibited in the California Art Expo in October 1986 and the Toronto, Canada Art Expo in November 1986.
